My lovely pile 2

First uni put a big dent in my reading-for-pleasure time, and currently the exam period is keeping me from posting much, so I thought I’d show you what I’ve been saving up for the break. A couple I’ve been meaning to read for years, while a few others looked like they would challenge my worldview in an intelligent way (unlike, for example, George Ann Potter, Sandra Bloodworth or Frank Stilwell).

  1. Peter Patton says:

Frank Stilwell is the academic equivalent of Dave Hughes or Adele Horin. Dump all those books, except for Polanyi and Nozick. Once you have read these two, all those others are just wannabes stumbling about in the dark.

I don’t know – Easterly is interesting, Gans is good quality, and the collection edited by Copp has some rave reviews. But I will be starting with Nozick, as ASU has been something I’ve meant to read for a long time.
